Kittie Klaw is a burlesque queen with an Empire. An international burlesque star, producer and writer, Kittie is also the veteran founder of the infamous Ministry of Burlesque. |

Kittie spent her birthday today shooting with the fabulous Finlay MacKay. The project, known as ‘Death Drive’ was an incredible collaboration between the fashion industries best and cult art publication 125 Magazine - all with Finlay’s inspiration taken from many sources from the sinister realms of Manga Art.The shoot took from 9am until 2am and involved freakish prosthetic body parts by special effects expert Bill Turpin.
Kittie’s character is portrayed in a visually stunning and yet conceptually shocking, bright and bizarre predicament where where she is (among other things) giving birth to giant alien tentacled creature!
The results of the shoot will appear in 125 magazine and Finlay’s work will be on exhibition later this year in both London and Tokyo.
At 2am the team wished Kittie a happy birthday with a gorgeous birthday cake and beer. Hurrah!
Many thanks are due to the wonderful team:
Liz Daxaeur - make up, James Rowe - hair styling, Adam Howe - fashion styling, Matt Duddleston - set design, Dennis Tuffnell, Steve Digital, Willam Jaspert, Vicki Volckman and of course both Bill Turpin and Justin on special effects. Thanks too, to all the assistants who helped Kittie immensely - especially getting the contact lenses in and out and preventing the 4 stone tentacle from squashing Kittie’s petite self.
